Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Rating Star platform, website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Ozrit IT Solutions Private Limited (“Ozrit”, “we”, or “us”). By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Rating Star. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

2. Account Registration

You must register an account to access most features of the Platform. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Providing accurate and up-to-date profile information.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

One person may not maintain more than one personal account. Accounts created for businesses, institutions, or organisations must be registered under an appropriate Enterprise or Business account type.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

Rating Star offers both free and paid subscription plans. By selecting a paid plan:

• You authorise us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis.
• Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance, as selected at signup.
• Prices are listed in INR (Indian Rupees) and are exclusive of applicable taxes (including GST).
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory ratings or reviews.
• Manipulate your Trust Score through fake accounts, paid reviews, or collusion.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without written permission.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the source code of the Platform.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your professional credentials.
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination without refund.

5. Ratings and Reviews Policy

The integrity of ratings on Rating Star is fundamental to the Platform. By submitting a rating or review:

• You confirm that the rating reflects a genuine professional interaction.
• You grant Ozrit a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use your review content on the Platform.
• You understand that reviews are tied to your verified account and cannot be posted anonymously.
• You acknowledge that Ozrit may remove reviews that violate these Terms or our content policies.

6. Intellectual Property

All platform software, design, graphics, algorithms, and content created by Ozrit are the exclusive intellectual property of Ozrit IT Solutions Private Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or proprietary content without our prior written permission.

You retain ownership of content you upload to your profile. By uploading content, you grant Ozrit a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content in connection with operating the Platform.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. Ozrit may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) shall survive.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Ozrit does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Trust Scores are computed algorithmically and are provided for informational purposes only. We make no representations regarding the accuracy or completeness of user-submitted ratings and reviews. Reliance on Trust Scores for hiring, contracting, or other decisions is at your sole discretion and risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ozrit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Services, including loss of profits, reputation, data, or business opportunities. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Ozrit in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. You agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us before initiating formal legal proceedings.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and a Platform notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services following the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
